Australia has tried multiple things to help battle the problem of bee decline. One of their several solutions that have been the most effective is placing miniature trackers on the backs of bees. These trackers track the movements bees make and help us to learn more about how the bees react to the different environments they are in. This small piece of technology is able to study the effects of stress factors such as pesticides, diseases, air pollution, and extreme weather conditions on the movements of bees and their ability to pollinate. Another solution that Australia is trying is to stop the entry of new pesticides and diseases. The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has been hosting many activities to prevent the entry of new pesticides and diseases. Austrailia has experienced the effect of some of their solutions but is still working to find more ways to fight this worldwide tragedy.
