Bee Decline

Honey producers are feeling the sting of bee decline. Honey producers don't want the bees to decline because it will affect their industry in more ways than one. With the lessening amounts of bees the supply of honey will also diminish as a result. This commonly used sweetener will become very rare to find. Due to its scarcity, the cost of this product will skyrocket. If this industry continues to suffer because of the rapid decline in bees, the amount of jobs needed to produce honey will dissipate. This will leave many people jobless and affect the unemployment rate in our world. The growing amount of people becoming unemployed will cause our economy to suffer greatly. Also, there are multiple food items sweetened with honey, more than one would imagine, such as cereals and candies. If the bees keep disappearing, these foods might not be able to be produced. Overall, bee decline is affecting the honey industry itself, and the people within.
