The use of pesticides in agricultural farming is one of the causes of the immense losses in bee populations worldwide. One pesticide that is commonly used in agricultural farming is called neonicotinoid. Neonicotinoids are the most common pesticide that affects bees. This is one of the many pesticides that is very harmful to bees and causing great quantities of them to die. Neonicotinoids are a category of pesticide that can harm a bee's brain. These pesticides can harm a bee's brain by causing them to get confused, and lose their memory. It also slows down their brain functions. In addition to neonicotinoids, coumaphos is another common pesticide that kills bees. Both of these pesticides target a bee's brain, causing them to become a slower learner. This also results in the loss of smell, specifically floral scents. Pesticides significantly harm bees in their habitat when pollinating.
